Unforgettable journey

I wonder why I am writing this post, nothing is holding me back from writing though.
Thanks to everyone who encouraged, supported, appreciated, criticized and respected me through this journey of my existence to stroke my silver jubilee. Hats off to all of U, Especially, dad & mom who I love the most!

The journey has made me learn many new things, obvious there is a new lesson every day.

Things seem very different to me now; I have been able to digest anything and what so ever it is. Rough roads lead to smooth road at sometime of life, a phrase which I believe. I have been brought up in such a way that I know what life is and what it means to the society.

Each day I wake up wishing for a better day, I go to sleep expecting for a better tomorrow. But the fact remains that, what on earth is on your way will come and reach you irrespective of good or bad.

Thank you GOD for giving me a wonderful life to cherish and a future to look forward, Thank you Mom and Dad for your faith in me, Thanks to my dear ones, friends, colleagues, relatives, and the society who has played an important role in every aspect of my journey.

I would like to share a poem at this moment, which I love :)

"The Joy of Life"
This is the true joy of life. The being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one. The being a force of nature instead of a feverish and selfish clod of ailments and grieving senses complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and that as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die. For the harder I work, the more I live.

I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got to hold up for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.

my shine

I wake up with a smile to keep you happy,
with a deep breath I start my day with you around keeping me shining.

Hoping you had breakfast as I have mine. Once you reach office I leave home wishing you have a wonderful day. Reaching office makes me more sparkling after the drive along with you keeping me shining.

I enter the workplace with a smile which gives me more energy looking at the retort I get. My work begins with a grin on my face believing you are around me keeping me shining.

I wondered, why was I shining, and found an answer. It was your rays which touched me to keep me shining.
